“The Happiest Place on Earth” is no longer just in California and a visit to Hong Kong Disneyland will give you (and your kids of course!) a chance to enter a world of fantasy and pure nostalgia.

Getting There

Hong Kong Disneyland is on Lantau Island and can be easily accessed via the MTR subway service to Sunny Bay Station near the theme park. Certain Wan Chai hoteloptions including properties like Dorsett Wanchai Hong Kong offer a complimentary shuttle bus to Hong Kong Station which connects to Sunny Bay Station.

The Layout

This theme park is pretty much a kingdom in itself with lots to see, do and experience! Of course, you do need to plan ahead; there are seven lands to explore namely Fantasyland, Toy Story Land, Tomorrowland, Adventureland, Mystic Point, Main Street, U.S.A. and Grizzly Gulch.

Key Attractions

If you’re looking for some thrills then rides like the Star Wars themed Hyperspace Mountain (Tomorrowland) and RC Racer (Toy Story Land) are worth trying. Fairy tale magic awaits at Fantasyland’s Fairy Tale Forest and the Sleeping Beauty Castle, while fans of The Avengers will love the attractions at Tomorrowland that feature Iron Man and Ant-Man and The Wasp!

Fun Events

There are also interactive events and shows worth taking in; these include Adventureland’s the Festival of The Lion King, Meet Cinderella at Main Street, U.S.A. and Fantasyland’s “Disney Paint the Night” Parade. Of course, if the “force” is strong within you, try Tomorrowland’s Jedi Training attraction!
