Why is Miami so popular?

They call it the ultimate beach-experience. Yes, it’s the Miami Beach we are talking about. The Miami Beach has garnered much acclaim over the years for its all-time party atmosphere and golden shores which draw countless tourists from across the globe.

While the beach remains a popular spot amongst all ages, there are a few other aspects that tourists look for apart from its golden sands. For those who would like to explore something a little greener, the Bayfront Park is ever-so entertaining and is another attraction that keeps visitors flocking to the charming beach-side city.

Bayfront Park and a little about its history

The park has a long history dating back to 1924 when it began construction under the guidance of architect Warren Henry Manning. It was not until March 1925 that the park was declared open. Although there are many thousands of tourists who enjoy what the park has to offer, little do they know the massive architectural changes that took place in the 1900s. What the park looks like now is thanks to the efforts to the Japanese-American landscape architect Isamu Noguchi. Bayfront Park is conveniently situated allowing easy access to many visitors. To its north stands the Bayside Marketplace and American Airlines Arena. The park also provides easy access to many a luxury hotel Miami Beach has to offer such as COMO Metropolitan Miami Beach. Additionally, the park is a prominent venue for much anticipated celebrations such as Christmas, concerts and other international entertainment events.
