Dubai’s one of a kind Beach/Park hybrid – a display of architectural bliss

The city of Dubai takes luxury and indulgence to a whole new level with every possible instance, therefore it comes as no surprise that even their more contemporary and average attractions are a far cry from the norm. Such is the case of the Jumeirah Beach Park, a supposedly normal sounding locale that unsurprisingly contains more wonders that the name implies. In keeping true to its name, the place is an amalgamation of a beach and a park, encompassing the best of both worlds, leading to the creation of yet another unique attraction to add to the immense list of Dubai tourist attractions. If one were to look down upon the Beach Park from the skies, the sight would be a display of architectural bliss where blue water meets sprawling green.

The park is located in the glamourous Jumeirah district, right opposite the Chilli’s restaurant and in close proximity to the luxurious ANANTARA the Palm Dubai Resort. The park is immense and contains all the necessary amenities for an ideal picnic getaway, such as children’s play areas, picnic tables and barbeque facilities to be used to by the visitors. The beach area is also constantly surveilled by a troop of life-guards to ensure the safety of the visitors. The park’s aquatic facilities further include a number of swimming pools, should one were to prefer a pool over salty ocean water.

On the turf side, the park contains numerous facilities to accommodate recreational sports such as Basketball, Volleyball and Handball. If one were to prefer to buy food instead of cook it themselves, there is a plethora of food options available since the park is filled with food-kiosks, cafeterias and restaurants. The park is also notable for containing numerous facilities to aid the needs of people with disabilities, containing a separate car-park located closer to the park’s entrances and exits, as well as specially designed toilets for those with special needs.

So if a stress-free relaxing day by the beach with family and friends is what you seek, look no further than the Dubai Beach Park.
