Visitors can also take a walk along many pleasant trails and relax listening to a range of bird calls, visit the onsite early Maori hunting village to have an encounter with the lives of an ancient people, tuck into goodies at the Kiwi Café or spend time in the souvenir shop. Visitors also have the option of spending a few hours or the whole day at the park enjoying its surroundings and learning about its amazing collection of animals by attending conservation shows and talks.
