Towards the southern coast of Bali in the heart of The Pecatu Resort is New Kita Green Park, a fun place for the whole family to visit, which is located less than half an hour away from Alila Villas Uluwatu. Being one of the latest additions to the plethora of attractions in Uluwatu, New Kuta Green Park is spread over an area of five hectares and is a recreational water park that offers both adrenaline pumping water rides as well as relaxing water floating. It is a modern wonder how the Park has transformed the rather dry land area into an oasis of fun and lush greenery while supporting the local ecosystems as well.

The key attractions of New Kuta Green Park are water slides, wave pool, flying fox, bungee trampoline, lazy river, and paintball. There are several water slides ranging from 12m to 8m or so, and can be enjoyed by both adults and kids. As the Park is tailored more towards families, do not expect too much of an adrenaline rush here. But if you are with kids between 3 to 10 years of age, they are bound to love the place for its centrepiece – the giant play area with tipping buckets, sprinklers, and mini slides.

Tickets are priced at the same rate for adults and children, while children under 80cm in height are allowed in free. You do have to pay extra for certain rides as well as for the use of lockers, which are essential when the whole family decides to go on a ride. There are places to purchase food and beverages inside the park. The place is more popular among the locals, though, as they get a special rate. Thus, it would be best if you visit the Park during morning hours before the crowds set in. You would need somewhere between 3 to 4 hours to fully explore all the rides and offers, although your child might want to spend more time in the wave pool.

Although not a massive magnificent construction, New Kuta Green Park in Uluwatu provides a fun place for families with young children to enjoy a relaxing day when in Bali.
