An assimilation of the sopranos, altos, tenors and basses on to a single platform for an entire month that promises to tinkle your ears, pull at your heart strings, keep your feet tapping and your bodies swaying; the iTunes Festival is organized by Apple Inc. for their ardent fans of music. Due to the resounding success of the inaugural event that took place in 2007, the iTunes Festival has come to stay and is now an annual item in the Apple Inc calendar.
The organizers keep changing the location of the month long event every year so that more and more of its aficionados can be a part of the show. iTunes users have exclusive rights to win tickets for the fiesta of music which is bound to feature their favourite artistes. The fifth version of the program is scheduled to take place in September at the Roundhouse, Camden Town, in London.
At present Jessie J, Phoenix and Justin Timberlake are set to perform at the 2013 edition, while some of the previous performers have included One Direction, the British Irish boy band, Pigeon Detectives a local rock band, David Guetta, Pink, Norah Jones, Amy Winehouse, Ed Sheeran, Alicia Keys, Coldplay, Adele and Bruno Mars. All of which bodes well for the upcoming festival where there is likely to be some star studded harmonies.
The raffles, the draws and the entire list of artistes will be announced closer to September. Even though this is an annual event now, it creates quite a stir, especially in the locality of Roundhouse, which was originally built for the use of the railway department inclusive of a turntable.
With the entire horizon spangled with stars, ensure you settle for nothing short of 4 star UK hotels, where luxurious accommodation will be provided for you. Attend the iTunes Festival more than once so that you do not miss out on any of your favourite shows. The hotels in London will cater to all your other whims and fancies. Come September, there will be an influx of melody makers and seekers; therefore make plans early if you wish to stay at Millennium & Copthorne Hotels UK.
