Gifted with a natural aura of eeriness, The Sathorn Unique is a sinister looking building that is situated in the heart of Thailand. Fondly dubbed as the Bangkok’s Ghost Tower, the structure is a symbol of the Asian Financial crisis of 1997. Basking in the glory of a booming economy of the 90’s, the Sathorn Unique was implemented but was never complete due to the country’s economic crash. It already constitutes of 49 stories, 659 residential units and 54 retails and further construction regarding it has been noncommittal. Its ghost like feel with exposed infrastructure gives it a post-apocalyptic look that would have awed Beksinki. Locals sincerely believe that the building is haunted and a blogger has even claimed that abandoned rooms were filled with strange objects including mannequins to a portrait of the king. While this spooky nest isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, it’s intriguing to fanatics of the paranormal.
