To say that Laohutan Ocean Park is an all in one entertainment destination would not be an exaggeration. This humungous amusement cum oceanarium cum Bird Park is located in a vast 291 acres along a 4000 meter section of Dalian’s beautiful undulating coastline.

The entrance to the facility is dominated by the 4 acre Tiger Sculpture Square from which the park has got its name. Large tiger sculptures of six tigers in all sorts of un-tiger like poses by one of China’s famous modern sculptors dominate the square. These sculptures are said to denote the power and strength of the beasts.
