Built in the memory of the Second World War period when Jewish refugees were seeking refuge from massacre, the Shanghai Jewish Refugees Museum is situated on Changyang Road in the Hongkou District. It is home to various cultural relics and scrolls. Ohel Moishe Synagogue which served as the Jewish Youth Organization’s headquarters, houses the museum. Visitors will find a small gallery within the museum. A special introduction video presents an idea about the lifestyle and history of Jews in Shanghai.
