Koh Samui has several popular areas, most centred around beaches. Chaweng Beach is one of the most well-known offering thrilling water sports and nightlife. Tropical sunny weather awaits in Koh Samui where the temperature is around 28 degrees on average. December to February is generally the dry months which coincides with the peak season. March to May sees temperatures soar to about 30 degrees, while the height of the monsoon is from September to November.
