Home to the largest display of Australian reptiles on the planet, the Crocosaurus Cove in Darwin is not to be missed; here are some of the key highlights that await.

Cage of Death

The famed Cage of Death is at this attraction, around a four-minute drive from Oaks Darwin Elan Hotel. You will be placed within an acrylic cage and lowered into one of the enclosures where you come face to face with a toothy saltwater crocodile! You can see it being fed and experience its powerful bite force too.

Big Croc Feed Show

Those staying at serviced apartments Darwin has to offer in the CBD can easily time their visit to witness the Big Croc Feed Show at 11.30am and 2.30pm. Here, one will gain insights into saltwater crocodiles, see them being fed and even meet celebrity croc Burt, who starred in the film, Crocodile Dundee!

Holding Crocodiles

Don’t worry, this experience involves only holding baby crocs. It offers visitors a chance to get up close to crocodiles before they grow to epic proportions and may not be as forthcoming with human contact! As part of the experience, you can have your picture taken with it as well for a memorable memento.

Fishing for Crocs

You can encounter juvenile crocodiles in the Fishing for Crocs attraction at the Crocosaurus Cove. Amongst the most unique things to do in Darwin, you will get to dangle snacks on a fishing line from a special platform; watch, as young crocodiles sometimes bring their entire body length out of the water for food.
