Overlooking the breathtaking Pioneer river the Bluewater Lagoon Park is a three-tiered lagoon-like water park with fun-filled activities for the entire family.

Activities

The park entails three 50-meter pools with a waterfall connecting two lagoon or pool areas Additionally, there is 19.5-meter water slide that connects the top lagoon to the middle lagoon.

Facilities

With a drop-bucket pool, an interactive children’s water playground and a 1.9-meter fence surrounding the park, Bluewater Lagoon is a safe and child-friendly facility. The lagoon also provides handrails and areas with suitable water levels for the disabled and elderly

Food & Dining

While the park hosts a café of its own called the Bluewater Lagoon Café, visitors can also drop in by the Pancake Bliss Café which hosts its own events and is open even before the park opens. Or better yet with the electric barbeque facilities found at the park why not go take your own spread and enjoy a picnic by the pools.

Information

Since the leisure facility is administered by the Mackay Regional Council entrance is free. The park usually closes from mid-July through to the 1st of September.
