At the dawn of spring to Japan, the Cherry Blossom more popularly known as Sakura in Japan comes to bloom. The whole country gets filled up with the blossoming Cherry Blossoms which has a shade of fragile pink and white. The whole country waits till this lovely flower spreads across Japan during springtime. Cherry Blossom viewing is a tradition in Japan where crowds flock to gardens and parks for Hanami (Cherry Blossom viewing). This beauty doesn’t last for much long just a bit longer than a week, but for that week the towns and roads look decked with a heavenly glow that is the lovely Sakura.
Cherry Blossoms bloom where the climate is mild, as it is an important factor that contributes to the blooming period of flowers. In Okinawa, Japans’ Southern region, you would find Cherry Blossoms opening up in January where as in Hokkaido, the Northern region they bloom around in ma, while in most of the cities it is normally in April. The short Sakura season reaches its full bloom known as the Mankai in about a week of the Kaika, the first bloom. In another week after you would find the flowers falling off the trees when the blooming peak comes to an end. Yoshino is the best spot for Cherry Blossoms where you would find roads carpeted with pink and white flowers when you reach the mountains.
