The Gangarama temple; this is a must visit when in Colombo. it is a Buddhist temple decorated with modern architecture and traditional detail. National museum Colombo; this is one of the two national museums of Sri Lanka. If you are a history junkie, this is the best place to learn more about the chronological background of the country. Galle Face green: this is an ocean side park located right in front of the old parliament complex of Sri Lanka. Galle face green is the perfect place to fly a kite, enjoy the beautiful sun setting over the city and taste the iconic Galle Face ‘isso wade’ and ‘kottu’. This is an experience of a lifetime that should not be missed.

Dutch hospital Colombo; located in the centre of Colombo fort, this is a colonial age building from the 1600s. it is now home to a variety of extravagant shops, restaurants, pubs and cafes.
