Sigiriya is one of the most ancient and renowned masterpieces of Sri Lanka. It indeed is a magnificent creation of the past that stands proud until this date. The other important feature of Sigiriya is the Mirror Wall. This was once a wall that was very clear that the king could see him through it. It is made out of a variety of porcelain. This wall now comprises of various sayings and verses that were scribbled by Sigiriya visitors. The verses date back to a very long time and show the various experiences and thoughts of those visitors from the past.
