In Bentota, you can try lots of water sports and visit the scenic Lunuganga Estate. Hikkaduwa, on the other hand, is home to a marine national park ideal for snorkelling, while it has happening nightlife too.

Day 03: Galle

Continue down the south coast to Galle where you will find the magnificent Dutch Fort and Old Town that are part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore this colonial fort with its Dutch houses and old warehouses, visit attractions like the Dutch Reformed Church and walk along the ramparts overlooking the sea at sunset.

Day 04: Wildlife Safaris

Plan an early morning excursion to one of two national parks for exciting safaris. At Yala, you have the chance to spot the majestic Sri Lankan Leopard, while Udawalawe is a great place to observe elephants in the wild. From sloth bears and crocodiles to diverse bird species, these parks feature much more wildlife as well.
