Whistler Mountain used to be known as London Mountain back in the day as similar to London, the mountain was often covered in fog quite often. Vacationing at Whistler Mountain is quite common and now with all the kid-friendly activities, it is a wonderfully family-friendly holiday destination.

Not far away from many of the Whistler hotel suites and the popular ski hotel Pan Pacific Whistler Mountainside are many skiing schools for adults and children. You can learn as a family or ski as a family if you already know how to do it.
Zip lining
If you and your kids are of age and like feeling the adrenaline rush and don’t mind heights, then ziplining at the height of treetops with a bird’s eye view of the area is a great activity to do together.
Snowshoe away
With the area being a white winter wonderland due to the snow it makes a great opportunity for the entire family to explore Cougar Mountain on foot. Since it is hard to explore with normal footwear you can high snowshoes and let the adventures begin.
Evening at the movies
Taking a break from the outdoors you can cuddle up for a wonderful movie night at the Village 8 Cinema – one of the Whistler movie theatres and enjoy some scrumptious popcorn with the family.
