You will be able to find the highest concentration of bars in Khon kaen along Pracha Samran Road. Although the bars cater to foreign tourists as well and some bars have English names, not many people speak English fluently here. 99 Vintage, which is a popular place for Khon Kaen nightlife open from 8 pm to 3 am, Rads, also known as Rad Pub is actually more of a wine bar with loud music, Boss time, which is more of a beer garden and you would love this place if you enjoy open air drinking with good food; are some of the popular nicest bars you will come across in this town.

There are no ladies employed in these ordinary bars to hook up with the male clientele, but then again, if you dare to do the first step, you’ll see how easygoing these “ordinary” local women are. There is a myriad of hotel Khon Kaen which gives you easy access to the city’s nightlife such as AVANI Khon Kaen Hotel & Convention Center. The good thing about these nightclubs are there is no cover charge for any club or bar in this area, you could walk in straight and order a couple of drinks.

Needless to say, it is easy to meet girls in bars or nightclubs here in this town. There are other nightlife areas that are worth checking out too; Nai Mueang Alley, where several bars are clustered around and also Kaen Nakhon Lake where you can find a good amount of both Farang and Thai bars. Walking street market is a quite popular night market you shouldn’t miss. It has everything from handicrafts to clothes; held every Saturday from sunset to about 11 pm on Na Soon Rachakarn Road.
