He was from Morocco. He travelled from his home to Kilwa (Tanzania) and then to many other countries. China, Sri Lanka, India, the Maldives ad Samarkand are just a few of the many destinations he’s been to.
His personal life
He is considered a traveller who often got involved with local political scenes whenever he visited a new destination. He got married to the family of the monarch when he was in the Maldives.
