Wat Chalong is big beautiful temple in Phuket, one among the many captivating temples of the country. The temple has served as a place of worship to the country’s majority Buddhists and is open from seven in the morning to five in the evening to both devotees and tourists alike. It is believed to house a shard of Lord Buddha’s bone which lies within the Grand Pagoda. As the temple is a favourite among local devotees it is advised that you are appropriately clad when visiting.
After a visit to the temple and as the night draws closer visitors may stroll across Phuket’s many streets sampling a variety of street food. Travellers can also treat themselves to yummy food what awaits at Kamal Beach. Starting at 7pm every evening except for Thursday’s is the Phuket FantaSea Show which features Thai traditional dances and other entertainment items which will keep one captivated.
