The Heritage of Dubai is its treasure. It is sacred and opens the doors of the ancient world in Dubai. Today, Dubai is one of the most sophisticated cities in the whole of Middle East. It attracts planeloads of tourists each year to marvel at the many wonders nestled within this city. Seated amidst all these wonders is the exotic Dubai Heritage Village. A walk back time, the Dubai heritage village tells you tales you have never heard and displays to you artefacts of a unique lifestyle.

The heritage village in Dubai dates back over 400 years and makes one of the oldest structures in the city. The building itself is an exhibit and shows off the typical Arabian architecture. Locally it is known quite famously as the Hatta Village. The Dubai Heritage Village is placed on an ancient settlement that makes up a traditional mountain village that is blossoming in an oasis. It is almost like time travel going there where there is an array of mud houses and palm leaves to check out. Just outside the village there is a large tower and a central fort; again excellent places to explore. Another very attractive feature of the Dubai Heritage Village is the falaj, a vegetated seating area that has such a picturesque ambience making it a perfect place for relaxation. Throughout the heritage village you can find an array of signs in both English and Arabic that helps you find your way through the village. Here you can learn all there is to know about the history of Dubai. You can enjoy so many interesting artefacts from city’s humble yesteryears and you can experience the real Dubai; the roots that have made this an amazing city. In the courtyard one can also find an interesting 200 year old mosque. Then there is also the Al Husein Majlis; the guest house of the governor. The building is an interesting place to explore with the conference room, lodgings and the intriguing weapons room available.

Just like in any other part of the world in UAE, the Millennium Hotel Abu Dhabi happens to be the most famous. This Abu Dhabi city hotel has all the fancy facilities making it the best of all Abu Dhabi hotels.
